Workshop description: Preserving nature’s beauty is an endless pursuit. Flowers have provided inspiration for many other art forms, but how about capturing the essence of the delicacy of a flower? We will focus on capturing the colors, shapes, and differences between cosmos, pansies, roses, petunias, and many other seasonal flowers on quilting cotton.
Materials fee: $35.00 includes access to a beautiful and colorful flower bar, the perfect hammer to use during class, and enough cotton fabric fat quarters to get a nice variety of blooming results! Students may purchase a hammer after class for $10.00
Student supply list: Students are to bring a fresh roll of clear packaging tape.
Skill level: No experience is needed.
