Arizona Fiber Festival

Sponsored by the Arizona Federation of Weavers and Spinners Guilds and the Town of Camp Verde.

Workshops covering a wide variety of fiber arts topics will be held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in city facilities on Main Street. There will also be a vendor marketplace and fiber art demonstration tables for each of the guilds that belong to the Federation. The event will be open to the public.

TOWARD 2050, a public engagement artwork, will culminate in an immersive labyrinth installation at Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Arizona – January through May of 2025. This project is orchestrated by AZ-based artist, Ann Morton who was the creator of the Violet Protest; in partnership with Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, AZ. Makers are called to create small, environmentally themed textile panels in the style of “prayer flags” that will make up the paths of this giant labyrinth.
