Workshop description: Learn how to make lace with the bobbin lace technique. Topics will include how to make the stitches, to pin, to set the tension properly, and to follow a basic pattern.
Materials fee: There is no materials fee if borrowed pillows and bobbins are returned. Instructions and pattern pricking will be handed out in class.
Student supply list: Students are to bring the following, if available, a bobbin lace pillow and 18-20 bobbins. (These can be supplied by the teacher). All students should bring 1 ball of 10 or 20 crochet cotton in any lighter color (darker are hard to see), 1 box of sewing pins, scissors, and pencil.
Skill Level: This class is designed for beginners.
