Workshop description: Learn the ancient art of coiled basketry – with a bit of a twist. Instead of a basket, you’ll craft a beautiful silk pendant. The class comes with a kit, and there are three colorways to choose from: greens, blues, or browns. Should you need additional time to complete your pendant, video tutorials will be provided for you to finish your project at home.
Materials fee: $40.00 covers the kit containing 7 spools of silk thread, cotton macrame cord, 2 tapestry needles, 2 waxed cotton cords for necklaces, and 1 cotton muslin bag. The kit contains enough materials for two pendants.
Student supply list: Students do not need to bring any supplies.
Skill level: No experience is needed.
