Seminar description: Is your loom too narrow to weave the finished products you’d like to make? Do you enjoy weaving on narrow looms but want to create blankets or garments? Through a PowerPoint presentation, Deborah will show you various ways to join panels together to make those wide finished pieces. Depending on your preference, your planned seaming can become part of the garment design or be invisible. During the two-hour demo session you’ll see many different ways for seaming and will be able to practice on your own after class while viewing the Zoom recording or following the handout.
This seminar will be recorded on Zoom and available for students to review for 14 days after the festival, so students can practice the techniques at home while watching the recording.
